to provide a fresh design scheme for a lounge including wall and floor finishes, furniture, soft furnishings, lighting and accessories. the brief was completely open, but the existing curtains were to remain - these were a fantastic starting point and the embroidered finish and soft muted colours anchored the overall design. nature and florals were used as inspiration and pattern was introduced with the embroidered cushions and statement william morris rug. texture was added with beautiful fabrics and a linen style wallpaper and rich woods and brushed brass provided warmth and richness.
