inspiration overload! last week i was lucky enough to take a trip to rome with some great friends (and the hubby of course!) and seriously, that place is beautiful. the architecture is something else. wherever you walk there is another building that seems more stunning than the last and that's before you go through the doors and take a look around?! the colours, detail and sheer scale are mind blowing and the skill of the artists and craftsmen is amazing. it makes you wonder, how with today's technology we sometimes struggle to even come close..? this blog is about getting inspired, so here are a few of the sights that got me snapping, i think you'll agree - rome definitely wasn't built in a day?!
